Grocery Store Savings

Grocery store prices are always rising; yesterday we gave you some money saving tips to help reduce your spending (frivolous items can really rack up the bill). Here are some more useful tips to help you cut back.
- Check the dates of the sale-is the item going to be on sale for another two weeks? Can the purchase wait? If so you may help your bank balance and may even find that you don’t really need the item in the first place.
- Always shop at the stores that offer price matching-you can save a lot of money by doing this.
- Often there are two shopping centers right next to each other-save $ by shopping at both-you can take advantage of the fact that they have different sales.
- When you see a sale such as 4 for $10-remember you can still get the sale price if you buy just one ($2.50). This is a marketing tool that is aimed at getting you to purchase more. Only purchase all 4 if you really need them!
