Trappe Feed & Pet Supply is about to turn five years old! That’s five years as the area’s #1 Pet Store! To thank you, our loyal customers, we’re having a huge party on Saturday, October 18*, and we want all of you to attend. The celebration starts at 10 am and goes ‘till dark, around 5 PM. (*Rain Date - Saturday, October 25th - but it’s not going to rain, right?!)
- Everything in the store will be on sale that day. Absolutely everything!
- We’ve invited many of our pet food and treat manufacturers to talk about their foods and goodies. They’ll have free samples and coupons to use in our store.
- Several local pet businesses will be here, offering information and tips about the pet sitting, grooming, dog training, and other services they offer. Training and grooming demos are planned throughout the day, along with free nail trims!
- Many local animal rescue groups will be here, too, talking about what dog and cat rescue involves, explaining how you may be able to help, and hoping that some wonderful pets find their forever homes.
- Everyone who attends and registers will have chances to win prizes, including gift baskets, gift certificates from area businesses, and even free pet food!
- This year, we’re hosting a new dog biscuit eating contest. Your goal is to eat more dog biscuits than our fearless leader, Gordon. Prizes will be awarded! Don’t worry, they’re good biscuits - they won’t make you scratch or bark!
- If biscuits aren’t enough, there will be human food and refreshments provided by several area eateries. We’ll be serving our own blend of fresh, wonderful coffee, too!
- Of course, it wouldn’t be October without a pet costume contest!
- So mark your calendars, and bring your pets and kids. Bring your friends, and their pets and kids, too! It’s going to be a fun day for everyone!
