The problem

The impacts of climate change are being felt around the world, and rural communities in developing countries are bearing the brunt.

Farmers are facing increasingly severe climate impacts like drought, increased soil salinity, and new insect pest and disease threats. Farmers - in particular female farmers - are among the most vulnerable to the impacts as they often lack the resources and skills to respond to these challenges.

With the right support, countries and farmers most vulnerable to climate risks can adapt to climate change, delivering improved food security and economic development.

From the manufacturer HELLY HANSEN - ALIVE SINCE 1877 From our home in Norway, Helly Hansen has been making professional grade gear to help people stay and feel alive for more than 140 years. It all started in 1877 when sea captain Helly Juell Hansen found a better way to stay protected from the harsh Norwegian elements. Helly-Hansen Men's Paramount Softshell Jacket Attractive Price Aico Amini Carrollton 6 Drawer Chest in Rustic Ranch Reduced Aico Amini Carrollton 6 Drawer Chest in Rustic Ranch I take public transportation to work. Wearing bulky outerwear just doesn't work for me. The system that I came up with is a softshell outer layer with a quality fleece vest underneath. I can unzip them both while I'm in transit and be comfortable. On warmer days I can leave the vest behind. When it gets a little colder I can add base layers. In the DC area truly cold days aren't that common. Every blue moon I have to break out another outer layer and it fits over all of the above. The great thing about softshells is that they are very windproof, three season warm in their own right, lightweight, flexible, semi-stuffable and nearly impervious to rain (within reason, I can walk over half a mile from my stop to my office in driving rain and not worry about it). I'm 5'10" and 190 lbs. I bought the xlarge and it fits quite well, except the sleeves are too long, which is a common issue for me. Since the sleeves have velcro closures I can live with the sleeves, or I might just take it to a tailor and get it squared away. On me the xlarge comes just below my hips providing a little extra coverage to my backend - which I also really appreciate. The collar is tall and lined so when fully zipped my neck will be protected. There are cord adjusters situated on each hip to let you snug the hem to your body a little and keep the wind from blowing up your skirt (so to speak). My last softshell was a lt, xlarge northface apex bionic, I would have bought another of those but northface ruined it by removing the velcro sleeve closures (and there were issues with those anyway being non-repairable rubber type straps). This one compares favorably to the northface jacket. My only minor nitpick is the zipper pulls are just bits of string tied in a knot (as was my northface, though the newer ones have proper pulls on them). This is kinda trivial as decent zipper pulls are really cheap. That being said, it annoys me that HH didn't just include some. Other than that, this appears to be a very well made and stylish jacket, time will tell how durable it is, I'll update my review in the spring (2019) and let you know how it held up.This is a fitted type jacket, a lined windbreaker type jacket. I'm a thick 6/3, and this one (XXL) is a bit snug. Most HH fit me fine, though some are too short in the waist. This one is a bit more form fitting, so I can't fit a sweater/midlayer under it. I sent it back. As is, I'm looking for a jacket I can layer underneath with the active-wear fit. It's a good lined jacket. It stops wind and (a little) water, though not for wet weather. It's not super warm, but is lined enough for the cool weather. If we lived further north, this jacket would see a lot of use in the cool spring/fall/evenings/mornings. Fit is a bit snug compared to other HH stuff.High quality, fit as expected great productGreat quality. Though in person it looks more like a motorcycle jacket than in the photo... oh well still works great for Colorado temps and mountains!!It's a great coat but definitely order one size larger then what you would normally wesr. Nice Product, I was just between sizes 5-9, 175lbs and the medium was too tight. love this jacket!! very happy with purchase Excelent product, thanks so much Clothing, Shoes Jewelry => Men => Clothing
